Why is it when I chat to photographers about their flash memory, they say things like...
"Oh, that card's a bit dodgy," or
"I don't really trust that one"
BUY NEW ONES! Compact Flash, SD, or whatever you use has never been cheaper than it is now. Even if it wasn't, imagine the cost of losing a wedding.

There's gambling and there's.... CRAZY!! Sandisk has a SWEET rebate going on for the rest of MAy, and part of June I think. On some of them you get a rebate check (to the place you bought it from) for the cost of one of the cards - like Buy 1, GET 1 FREE!! So yeah - by all means... PEOPLE! STOCK UP NOW!!
Those rebates rock - we just got 36gigs of memory for just a couple hundred bucks!
Awesome tip, shaina, thanks! There's also learning the hard way (but not on a wedding thank goodness) that using CF cards in different cameras doens't mean that you see all of the images on the card....
